The theme of Global Game Jam 2018 was 'signals'. With that in mind, the team set out to make a Final Fantasy style narrative RPG in RPG Maker. Abdiwak worked on all of the visuals, using a mix of new and revamped placeholder assets from RPG Maker.
Abdiwak is currently working on a video game funded by the 2018 Cultural Community Partnership grant from the Minnesota State Art Board in conjunction with Glitch MN. Expect to hear more in the coming months. Release is scheduled for Fall of 2018.
